We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.About the role : : Manager crew Pairings is responsible for planning crew pairings in such a way as to achieve optimal use of pairings to cover flight schedules and to obtain stable but high crew utilization.
The Manager Crew Pairings will lead a team of specialist responsible for managing the creation of optimised pairings in a legal & efficient manner and within targets set by Crew Planning.
Crew Pairings ProductionEnsure timely delivery of Crew Pairings by regularly monitoring the optimization process.Liaise with Crew Rostering teams for subsequent roster targets and issues.
Manage pairing optimizer to maximize crew utilization in order to produce optimum cost to the business.Oversee the analysis of commercial / operational changes on tactical Crew Pairings to understand cost / net impact.
Analyse various pairing scenarios and determine the most sustainable solution within given parameters for the planning period.
Review the pairings solutions planned versus actual and map trends to develop more robust planning & forecasting.Guide the development of adequate reporting structures for pairings generation process.
Oversee maintenance of pairings plans and suggest changes to the business process which will result in the overall improvements to the outcome of the final solution.
Ensure parings are done in a cost effective manner by getting the pairings system configured accordingly, considering the factors of fatigue, risk and robustness.
Analyse the post publication report (PPR) submitted by the Senior Pairings Officer and ensure the issues highlighted are resolved in a timely.
Provide feedback into the schedule planning process to ensure the flight schedule is efficient from the crew planning perspective.
Interact with other corporate departments including Flight Operations, Customer Experience, Training Planning, Crew Scheduling, Integrated Operations Centre, Revenue Management, Corporate Planning, Finance, and senior managementIncorporate specialised optimisation systems to analyse crew pairings by controlling overall fatigue risk while ensuring high crew productivity as well as minimising the costs.
Liaise with Flight Safety Department to ensure that the FRM system for crew pairings meets the objectives defined in the FRMS policy and increase the crew alertness.
Crew Pairings AnalysisEnsure detailed analysis of various pairings what if scenarios is conducted to assess impact of future business changes and determine future crew resource requirementsEnsure the statistics is optimized and ready for schedule for long term planning and budgeting purpose.
Analyse the information and statistics to provide advise on the pairings impact and recommendation to improve pairings qualityEnsure senior management is advised on the additional cost impact for schedule changes and keep them informed on the reason for the changesIT systemsSuper user for Jeppesen Carmen Crew Pairing (CCP) and AIMS systems.
Define rules and parameters within CCP and other relevant systems. .Involved in user acceptance testing of new systems and new releases / versions of the existing systems.
Monitor the system regularly and ensure the change requests are actioned by the Senior Officer PairingsEnsure the integrity of data and settings within IT systems.
Management & LeadershipEstablish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
About You : : Qualifications : EssentialBachelors Degree or equivalentRelevant tertiary qualification or experience in crew resources related role.
PreferredBackground in statistics and computer applicationsPrevious Experience : EssentialExpert - minimum 7 years of job-related experience requiredMinimum 03 years of relevant work experience in Crew Resources related roleExperience in coaching individuals and small teams are desirable.
PreferredExperience in business analysis.Job Specific Skills : EssentialKnowledge of crew resource management and optimization systems.
Demonstrate abstract reasoning and critical thinking skillsAbility to work under pressure, perform independently and work well with team membersUnderstanding of crew resource planning processes, theories and methodologies.
Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements (Flight Time Limitations).Strong attention to details, organisation and time management skills.
Self-starter having a positive attitude and strong desire for success.Report writing skills.PreferredFinancial management and budgetary experience.
