KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Should have excellent working knowledge of different DCS / PLCs systems including design, review and testing with experience in DCS / PLC FAT, SAT and site commissioning procedures.
Must be able to execute automation complete project lifecycle from Concept, FEED to Detail design.
Analyze, interpret and apply codes, standards and specifications to the work for unconventional systems. Make engineering decisions based upon analysis and consultation with more senior engineers.
Provide technical advice to Construction department, QA / QC department explaining the requirements of design engineering specifications consistent with good construction practice.
Develop detailed design review of various instrumentation and automation engineering deliverables(instrument datasheet, instrument list and I / O list, instrument sizing for flow
element and valves, calculations, engineering data sheets, specifications, Control Philosophies, Control Narratives, Safety Narratives and Logic diagrams.
Prepare / adapt new or existing drawings and documents for project specific objectives. Supervise, check and validate drawings and documents prepared by others
Perform vendor Technical Bid Evaluations and make technical recommendations based upon best overall value.
Develop Design Change Requests, Work Schedules
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 12 Years' Experience as in a Design Consultancy
Broad experience in Oil, Gas, Brownfield and Greenfield facilities, preferably with EPCM contractors
EDUCATION & TRAINING :
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or other Relevant discipline
