Job Overview
The Sales and Marketing Executive works with the Area Manager, and other departments in the company to develop and implement sales & communications strategies, while identifying & maximizing business opportunities.
His / Her primary responsibility is to grow the corporate and catering sales; and promote the public image of Pierre Hermé Paris among the various audiences where the brand is located.
This position will also collaborate with others in the company to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external communications.
Job Duties
Corporate Sales & Events Planning
Participate in the B2B sales planning and execution
Manage customer database and identify key business leads
Be aware of visits from connected VIPs and plan special attentions for them
Maintain regular relations with key VIP customers
Prepare business proposals when needed and follow-up
Develop & foster close and positive rapport with corporate clients to create an overall memorable experience for all
Liaise and coordinate with Kitchen and Operations departments and ensure timely delivery for all orders
Ensure events set up and full execution as per clients proposals
Build business by identifying and selling prospects
Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
Research client base to find new types of customers and sell to them accordingly
Demonstrate products and services when needed
Schedule sales call, appointments and meetings as necessary
Monitor the competition offer regularly
Demonstrate superior time management skills and meet sales deadlines
Digital & Social Media
Collaboratively manage and coordinate creation and update of social media content with the HQ and communication agency
Actively promote social media and propose ideas to drive traffic to the pages
Actively come up with ideas to engage fans and key social media influencers
Work with Area Manager to ensure ongoing improvement of social media content
Lead company efforts to remain up-to-date and effective in electronic communications
Actively monitor company’s online reputation
Identify influencers that can become brand ambassadors
Communicate on all Pierre Hermé Paris creations
Coordinate communication related events (press events, exhibitions, launchings, photography sessions, etc.)
Issue monthly reports to Management and Head Offices in Paris on all communication activities
Print Materials
Follow-up on the creation, production, and dissemination of printed communication tools (invitations, brochures, etc.)
Create and coordinate production schedules and maintain ongoing relationships with printing houses and other suppliers
Manage selection of photography for print and electronic communications
Other
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
