Responsible for providing therapeutic assessments andtherapy via a range of modalities including face to face, telephoneand other assistive technologies.
To providehigh quality case management supervision to the psychologists andto lead on the Action Learning Sets (ALS)
Toliaise appropriately with stakeholders in order to publicize andchampion the service
Responsible to work aspart of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, socialworkers and psychiatrists.
Responsible forproviding complex and sensitive therapeutic support forfamilies / carers.
Provide consultation to otherprofessions, encouraging a psychological approach in theirwork.
Actively pursue opportunities to advanceown professional knowledge and skill development.
Assumes responsibility for own professional growthidentifying those areas of clinical knowledge and skills that needfuture development.
Demonstrate proactiveapproach to patient safety by thinking what might go wrong in allthe undertakings and take necessary measures to prevent them fromhappening.
Identify and report potential oractual patient safety concerns, errors and / or near misses in timelymanner.
Follow patient safety-relatedpolicies, procedures and protocols.

Partner with line manager tounderstand risks in area of work, develop a plan on how to mitigatethose risks, and develop shared accountability for implementing andevaluating the plan.
