DohaAbout Your JobReporting to the Lead System Support Officer you will be required to manage system configurations. Support day-to-day operations by ensuring critical system availability for Cargo operations and ensure the cargo operations system and material handling system interface messages are transmitted and processed in both systems are as defined for cargo operations.
You will be also responsible for, but not limited to : Monitoring and identifying the system message errors and coordinate with Operations / RC / IT team to fix interface issues.
Updating and maintaining system master data, to facilitate workflow changes, such as warehouse / flight / ULD configuration, user access, SLAs and other parameters.
Coordinate with operations / Customer Airlines to implement system based procedures and enhancement.Apply AIR CARGO business practices and procedures to ensure flown as planned and cargo quality compliance.
Responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis for the QAS cargoUse data to identify problems and solutions that can be presented to management and key business stakeholdersDevelop and maintain the MIS (Management Information System) for QAS cargo.
Provide continuous support in identifying areas of innovation, articulate business needs, trend monitoringSupporting the development of new systems & processes.
About YouTo be eligible for this role you should be holding Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification or Diploma and have a minimum of 4 years’ experience with cargo systems.
You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; have advanced level of experience in MS Office Applications, have strong analytical skills and advanced problem solving capabilities and have comprehensive knowledge in cargo warehouse handling process.
Should understand the IATA IMP messages and the IT system interface structure.Experience in Cargo automation and strong quantitative abilities will be an added advantage.
