Involved in every aspect of the retail and fleet sales operation, this position requires commitment to building teamwork and customer satisfaction.
In addition to selecting, coaching and developing team spirit, the role is also responsible for merchandising, advertising and promotion of products and services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and efficiency
Analysing Sales Figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
Using information Technology to record sales figure and for data analysis and forward planning
Dealing with staffing issues; interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; providing or organizing training and development.
Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Responding to customer complaints, comments and assist the service department to solve all issues
Promoting the organization locally by liaising with local schools, newspapers and the community in general with the Marketing team
Organizing special promotion, displays and events in collaboration with the marketing team
Attending and chairing weekly sales meeting
Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
Maintaining Awareness of market trends in the automotive industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
Initiating changes to improve the business.
Dealing with sales as and when required
Managing all aspects of the brand through the supply chain both tangible and intangible.
Analysing the brand and current strategy and highlighting areas of weaknesses.
Creating a brand plan and brand strategy and ensuring all aspects of the product or companies marketing and activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
Creating an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty and improving market share.
BA degree / equivalent experience commercial / business emphasis
5-8 years of sales management experience in the car sales business with P&L responsibility
Sales experience with Asian volume automotive brand is essential
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent customer service ability
Professional in appearance and attitude
Detail-oriented, charting individual sales, establishing individual sales goals and bonus plans, and constantly monitoring Retail and fleet sales against the business plan
Ability to establish a positive distinctive marketing image and proactive customer responsiveness within the team.
Good communication skills in English -Arabic is definitely an advantage
Computer Skills : Microsoft office package
