The Backflow Technician(BT) will have full knowledge and understanding of systems used inbackflow prevention. The BT will conduct and documentsurveys of water flow system backflowprevention / cross-contamination IAW AFMAN 32-1067, Water and FuelSystems.
The BT will be responsible for meeting allrequirements outlined in PWS regarding documentation, testing andany other requirements for these systems including inspections,testing, maintenance and repair in coordination with FireDepartment, Operations Flight and any other area as needed ordirected.
The BT ensures professional and quality services areprovided to Customer in accordance with program requirements, whilemaintaining safety as the highest priority IAW PWS, laws, codes,guidelines, criteria and standards established by international, USgovernment, PWS and manufacturer guidelines.
The BTprovides the highestquality service to the Customer in accordance with programrequirements, while maintaining safety as the highest priority tosupport mission activities in the SOW and be available within 4hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel asrequired.
Must have Surveyor qualificationrequirements or be certified by a state as a Backflow / CrossConnection Surveyor. (Surveyors must have successfullycompleted a training program.)
Three years experience in a similar role preferably at aUS military installation
Excellent organizational and time managementskills
Validdriver's license and passport
Active Secret Clearance with ability tomaintain Secret Clearance
Ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirementsand maintain requirements for duration of deployment
Country visa (as required in linewith the U.S. Department of State Foreign ClearanceGuide)
