  • Must have at the time of offer and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET orInterim Secret Security Clearance.TheMWR SpecialistLead is responsible for direct oversight of personnel and performance of the day-

    to-dayoperational tasks for any one of the following functional areas : Fitness, Lounge, Housekeeping / Custodial, LodgingFront Desk, Community Activities Centers (CAC), Learning Resource Center (LRC),Media Center and Theater which all operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

    Servicesprovided include but are not limited to; customer service, cashier, bartending,lounge support services, basic facility & equipment maintenance, coordinationof special events, games, cultural tours,day or evening trips, and other supporting activities as specified in thePerformance Work Statement.

    The MWR Specialist Lead reports to the assignedDept. Manager.

  • 1.Responsible for direct personnel supervision andperformance of all duties required for the operation of installation services.

    Duties include, but are not limited to, cashier, customer service, custodialservices, bartending, lounge support, basic maintenance and cleaning,inventory, stocking, basic technical equipment assistance, event setup andbreak down, tour & trips guide, lodging front desk operation, linenexchange, etc.

    as specified in the Performance Work Statement.

    2.Responsible for monitoring other country nationalsin accordance withAFCENTI 32-1002 and obtain escort badge.

    3.Provides customer service leadership and performsrelated tasks in all functional areas of Recreational Services.

    4.Responsible for communicating and upholding companystandards, leading by example, working as a team and providing clean, friendlyand well maintained facilities.

    5.Responsible for the maintenance and condition ofthe equipment in the facility. Shall maintain procedures for tracking andissuing equipment to guests and 5-year equipment plans.

    6.Shall complete and maintain inventories. Completenecessary documentation and / or work orders.

    7.Shall provide set up and breakdown of Governmentfurnished equipment such as tables, chairs, music system, ice chests, stages,etc.

    IAW PWS specifications.

    8.Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean,sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutterand trash in all working facilities and areas.

    9.Responsible for completing all assigned Vectrus andGovernment required training courses.

    10.Responsiblefor proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractorprovided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment andtools).

    11.Responsiblefor precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accuratecompletion of timesheet.

    12.Performsother duties as assigned.

    13.Actsas supervisor in his / her absence.

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipmentsuch as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Cashregister, various hand tools, supplies and cleaning equipment.

  • Work will be primarily indoors, but may be outdoorsto support various events. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals mayoccur.

    Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractualneeds.Employee must comply with allFederal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as wellas written instructions.

    Task specific work environment training will beprovided as required . Must beprepared to function in a wartime environment to support U.

    S. interests. 100% Overseas Assignment.

  • Physical requirements may include lifting up to 35lbs,team lifting 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, and standing, stooping,stretching or bending.

  • Education / Certifications
  • One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent,Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Must have at the time of offer and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET orInterim Secret Security Clearance. Clearance will be verified upon offer.*
  • Mustbe a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver’sLicense.
  • Must be capable of obtaining an Air Force flightline driver’s license and capable of driving a manual transmission, CDLA andforklift experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Englishfluently.
  • Must be able to pass employment and deploymentqualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drugtesting, background checks, etc.
  • Must have Serve-Safe Alcohol Awarenesscertification if assigned to Lounge / Bartender work.
  • Must have CPR / AED / First Aid certification to workin any Fitness Center.
  • Experience with Epitome, preferred
  • Candidates must successfully complete both onlineand hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear)defensetraining.
  • Training includes the successful fit testing of DOD providedprotective gear.

  • Experience
  • A minimum of two years of working in customerservice with progressive supervisory experience. Experience to include : supervision of employees, training, completed required reports, and excellentcustomer satisfaction results.

    Prior Air Force experience in Services career fieldpreferred.

  • Skills
  • Great communication, teamwork, decision making, andcustomer service skills.

    Capable of operating audio and visual equipment.

    Must be skilled with Microsoft programs such asExcel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

    Ableand willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements

    Military experience in a contingency environmentand knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
