The ideal candidate will be involved in the following responsibilities and have the following requirements :

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse financial information for internal use
  • Review financial statements for internal and external organisation requirements
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre
  • Advise on strategic and business planning and reporting by preparing the necessary forecasts to strengthen decision-making
  • Provide financial analysis including monthly accounts and mid-year forecasting
  • Support auditing projects
  • Evaluate the organisation’s performance using key data
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize risk
  • Analyse trends and financial performance across business units
  • Month end accounting including reconciliations and journals
  • Assume responsibility of accounting procedures
  • Advise on problems and suggest improvements
  • Take part in systems' and process improvement initiatives
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as required
  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Excellent ability to speak and write Arabic.
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and Oracle
  • Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals
  • Proven experience as management accountant, accounting supervisor or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Analytical mind with aptitude in math
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts to non-finance staff
  • Organised and structured in daily duties
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, Team player and ability to establish strong relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
