Charterhouse are presently undertaking a search for a leading insurance client in Qatar whom are looking to recruit, at an Analyst level, within their investment arm.

About the role This Analyst will join their coverage team, across alternative investments, with a focus towards supporting their buy-side business unit and product line.

This role shall take responsibility for undertaking areas of financial analysis and investment-related feasibility studies across the range of asset classes and shall require financial modelling (advanced Excel) to complete a layer of analysis for review under their portfolio management.

In conjunction, the role will link to the completion of research reports and investment memos whilst also assessing potential sources of business development and investment opportunity.

About you The successful candidate should have a minimum of years of experience, within the alternative investments and / or private equity segment, with an exposure to either the family office environment or a buy-side investment banking institution.

The candidate shall be required to possess a strong product knowledge, within the required asset classes, whilst also being able to demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills.

The client would envisage hiring an MBA and / or CFA candidate with a track record, at a junior level, within a regional-based (GCC) investment organisation.

This role sits within a small business unit and the successful candidate shall be a strong and proven team player with a view on achieving strong and collaborative results
