Ensure to maintain Quality Management System (QMS) in assigned area of DO&M Dept.
Ensure to maintain effectively the requirements of Quality Assurance Policy, Manual, Procedures and ITP for assigned area of DO&M Dept.
and monitoring its proper implementation and raising development requirements.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organisation. Identify and promote relevant quality training needs.
Direct, guide and manage performance of QA / QC professionals team to assure, implement and ensure compliance with organization policies, processes, procedures and standards
Provide expert technical QA / QC advice and guidance in relation to complex, high risk and / or new cross-functional work activities and ensure all requirements are satisfied
Gather relevant high-level information from all Sections and Management Consultants and deliver prioritised, business informed, customer centric QA / QC activities for DO&M
Co-ordinate, supervise, monitor and manage successful delivery of QA / QC activities and ongoing maintenance of the QMS and provide regular reports to QMS Management
Representative (MR) on progress and outcomes.
Ensure Ashghal and Contractor compliance with new business processes, (including but not limited to those associated with EDAMS / EAMS, Frameworks), ensure redundant /
duplicate activities in his assigned area are discontinued and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations / specifications.
Coordinate with QA / QC Engineer and Inspector and evaluate current procedures and practices which span DO&M Sections and / or other Departments to improve
compliance, operational efficiency and achievement of required standards and make recommendations to enhance performance
Cooperate with QA / QC Engineer for final resolution of Technical Query (TQ) Concession Requests (CR) related to any Non Conformities (NCR) in assigned area of DO&M Dept.
Coordinate with Document Controller to ensure relevant documentation and certification updates are completed, stored and distributed for all DO&M projects and associated work activities
Lead , research and benchmark activities against accepted best practice standards in relation to QA / QC and provide recommendations for improvements
Undertake activities assigned by the Section Head, including attending or deputising at meetings
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and comply with any new work instructions
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Relevant Subject
Education qualification obtained from North America, West Europe,
Chartered Membership in relevant professional body (Chartered QA / QC Engineer) preferred and would be an advantage
Current / valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage
Minimum of 12 years’ QA / QC Experience, including minimum 3 years line management experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in water / waste water industry is preferred.
Experience of implementing and maintaining QMS to IS 9001standard
Experience of working in a multidisciplinary Organisation preferably in the Middle East
Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Ability to deliver and support change
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels within the organisation
Competent in Microsoft Office Packages
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred
