The opportunityOur MENA hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management, facilities management and cost consultancy services.
Your responsibilities will include : Developing, managing, and motivating all company staff, supply chain staff, and FM contractors working on the client through leadership, vision, and setting of goals and objectives, to achieve a highly effective and results driven organisation.
Providing in detail functional guidance and strategic alignment to the company and supply chain supervisory teams.Implementing and managing site safety / health / environmental / security systems including OIMS, and business controls system including CIMS, to ensure compliance with corporate expectations and appropriate laws and regulations.
Champions LPS process for all company and supply chain personnel (including sub-contractors supply chain partner)Managing the facility asset to ensure optimum asset value through best practices including operations and maintenance including optimum energy usage, site environmental programs, recycling etc.
Managing the development of best practice facility management services through benchmarking, networking, and use of internal Mace resources.
Organising and running weekly operational meetings to update client on progress towards goals and objectives, ensuring a review of all required tasks is presented.
Understanding all contractual requirements and ensure that day to day operations are carried out in full compliance with the contract.
Delivering a Client First’ attitude across the facilities, as relates to quality and total cost of ownership for each facility.
Updating and delivering overall site monthly KPIs for Doha, ensure that any identified gaps and areas of concern are closed timely, work with the local team to ensure continuous improvement in KPI results.
Ensuring ongoing technical training of company and supply chain staff, assess and ensure that superior customer service is provided at all times.
Fostering an effective working relationship between Mace and their chosen supply chain, escalate performance issues and concerns with supply chain in a timely manner and feedback to Mace cluster manager and client manager.
Providing feedback to Mace and client on the performance of all supply chain partners working on the client account.Ensuring that all site safety / health / environmental / security systems including OIMS, and business controls system including CIMS are utilised, ensure compliance with corporate expectations and appropriate laws and regulations.
Champion LPS process and participate fully in all LPS activities.Ensuring that the facility assets are operated in a way to ensure optimum asset value through best practices including operations and maintenance including optimum energy usage, site environmental programs, recycling etc.
Ensuring safety pre-qualification of all subcontractors and completions of annual third party prequalification assessments forms.
Oversight Responsibilities at Site Level (in conjunction with direct reports)OMR Related : Managing client’s separate elevator maintenance contract and other separate contracts as directed by client from time to time.
Maintaining discipline, and keep assigned work areas in good order and appearance at all times.Ensuring proper and continued operation of buildings' equipment and facilities.
General : Ensuring that rigorous time accounting is maintained for Mace on-site personnel.Using client’s facility management software to capture data, ensure it is accurate and provides a history of maintenance PPMs and repairs.
Developing and ensuring compliance with a robust safety program comparable to client E&PS operational integrity management system ("OIMS") program in scope, depth, training, record keeping, effectiveness, and other significant provisions.
Ensuring full compliance with and assist in the ongoing operation and improvement of the OIMS program.Ensuring service level commitments to building occupants are honored.
Complying with client’s security requirements.Ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.Ensuring that periodic meetings are scheduled and held with subcontractors to review operational activities, non-conformance, etc.
Ensuring that the services are performed in accordance with building and other applicable codes and standards.Obtaining all regulatory and other applicable permits required for building operations.
Scheduling timely inspections by regulatory agencies as required.Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of planned and ad hoc reports, including, but not limited to, a monthly accomplishment and non-conformance report.
Ensuring that procedure manuals are available, updated regularly, and that individual departments follow all procedures.Ensure access lists to all client's systems and databases are kept current (additions, deletions, changes, etc.
Retaining all records in accordance with client records retention policy. Managing and monitoring all financial processes.
Ensuring proper budgeting, analysis, forecasting, and cost control to operate within the approved Budget.Ensuring Mace on site supervisors take ownership of all aspects of their budget and the budget process.
Ensuring that adequate financial stewardship and controls are in place to comply with generally accepted accounting practices and the specific requirements of client, whichever is more stringent.
Ensuring timely payment of labour, material, and other service providers and subcontractors, and regulatory agency fees including permit and inspection fees.
Managing inventories and provide periodic and ad-hoc reports.Providing cost stewardship and reporting for all costs above monthly lump sum.
Developing and maintaining safe work plans and procedures for relevant tasks.Ensuring competent resources are assigned, trained and available.
Performing rigorous quality assurance and quality control for all work performance by Mace staff and their subcontractors.
Developing and maintaining business control procedures, adequate to meet client corporate standards.Providing all reporting as specified in contract.
About youBachelor degree in engineering, business, facility management, or relevant technical discipline.Proven leadership skills to achieve high standards and results.

Supervisory, personnel administration and contract administration skills.Working knowledge of real estate and / or building engineering disciplines.
