About Your Job : Responsible for driving the creative vision of digital content and design elements on qatarairways.com, the mobile app, and the airline’s other digital platforms.
Lead the teams for content strategy and personalization as well as user experience design and research, to deliver exciting, engaging and highly personalized end-to-end digital experiences for Qatar Airways' global customer base.
Key Responsibilities :
Create and execute the vision for content and design delivery on Qatar Airways' digital platforms; with emphasis on user-centred design and personalization.
Create and lead Qatar Airways' User Centre Design efforts for the end to end customer journey with input from Brand, Commerce, Loyalty, Ground Services, Cabin Services, and IT for Qatar Airways' Website, Apps and future digital direct channels.
Foster a culture of innovation to propel Qatar Airways' digital transformation with new products and services meeting the needs of a global traveller base.
Lead the content and design teams, ensuring consistency in delivering 5-star to customers at every point of their journey and on all platforms.
Oversee the activities of user research, testing and experience design teams; using data to identify opportunities to reach new customer segments, innovate digital offerings that deliver exquisite experiences that bring beauty and ease-of-use for tech-savvy travellers across all their journey points.
Oversee, guide and inspire a team of global professionals in Content Strategy, Personalization and User Design and Research to constantly deliver first-class experiences to Qatar Airways' digital customer base.
Partner with Product to create best in class digital guest experiences against business goals, serve as guest advocate in considering digital decisions that impact our customers and associates.
Implement best in class tools for prototyping and sharing design concepts with product and technology teams as well as other key stakeholders.
Collaboratively implement a Design system that provides for rapid development of products with consistency, quality and innovation
Champion a point-of-view to leadership regarding the relative importance of various design initiatives, to our guests, and our business, based on quantifiable outcomes.
Lead strategic design reviews and review deliverables from designers and researches, as well as present derivables to peers, product managers and high-level partners.
Collaborate with partners in Marketing to develop exciting and engaging campaigns and to ensure consistent delivery of global campaigns within smooth cross-functional processes.
Collaborate with partners in IT to facilitate delivery of solutions to empower the content and design teams to deliver the best outputs with the shortest time-to-market and least dependencies;
including solutions for localization and personalization.
About You :
The applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
You must have minimum 10 years of job related experience.
Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Also possess good analytical, interpersonal skills and a proven team player.
Proven record of acting as a leader across multiple teams through the application of design thinking and customer focus
Demonstrated experience in digital strategy design and implementation.
Can consistently demonstrate an insightful understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape, emerging technology, and market trends and set an example of delivering high-value work for customers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple, time-sensitive deliverables and competing priorities Ability to work extensively with cross-functional teams.
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
Experience working with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics.
