In particular, the applicant is expectedto :

  • Demonstrate skill and knowledgein teaching discipline;
  • Develop syllabi forrelevant courses;
  • Review, evaluate, andrecommend student textbooks and learning materials;
  • Develop, and use a variety of teaching materials thatassist students in meeting course objectives;
  • Make continuous efforts to improve the quality ofinstruction by utilizing innovative methodologies, techniques, anddelivery methods;
  • Evaluate students to measuretheir progress toward achievement of stated courseobjectives;
  • Keep accurate student records andsubmit related reports and forms within requestedtimelines;
  • Teach courses at a variety of timesand locations in response to institutional needs; Hold regularoffice hours;
  • Participate in department andcollege-wide professional development activities andcommittees.
