  • Answer, record, log, and processall guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Operate telephone switchboard station.
  • Process guest requests for wake up calls, screeningcalls, do not disturb, call forwarding, conference calls, TDD relaycalls, and non-registered guest calls.
  • Adviseguest of any messages received.
  • Monitor busyor unanswered lines, check back with callers on hold to updatestatus, and offer to take a message.
  • Receive,record, and relay messages accurately, completely, andlegibly.
  • Activate / deactivate guest roommessage lights as appropriate.
  • Instruct guestson how to access the internet; transfer guests with problems toprovider’s customer support line.
  • Test communications equipment to ensure it worksproperly.
  • Respond to special requests fromguests with unique needs.
  • Contact appropriateindividual or department as necessary to resolve guest call,request, or problem.
  • Follow up with guests toensure their requests or problems have been met to theirsatisfaction.
  • Dispatch bell staff or valetstaff as needed.
