KeyResponsibilities : 1. Responsible for ensuring that proper andeffective cost estimation and controls measures are executed by theEPC contractor with particular emphasis on instituting pre-emptivecorrective actions.
2. Provides cost, and timely change managementexpertise to Project Team. Maintains strict compliance with ProjectManagement of Change process and ensures maintenance of overallcost and schedule within the project controls team 3.
Coordinatesthe collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting of allProject cost controls, progress measurement and control trends toensure overall project status is assessed and potential problemareas are rectified 4.
Plans on potential project changes toevaluate any schedule and / or cost impact; responsible forincorporating the effect and impact of approved changes on overallcost, schedule, and planning cycle 5.
Monitors and appraisesperformance of the EPC Contractor in the areas of cost control,progress measurement and schedule control.
6. Develops multipleCost / Schedule driven Contracting Scenarios for feeding intoeffective Contracting Strategy workshops.
7. Coordinates planningand execution of project cost and schedule analysis, forecasting,and change management 8. Reports and communicates on development ofClass III cost and schedule estimate and bid check estimates 9.
Reports Bid Evaluation Plans, Procedures and Models, includingHypothetical Change Order basket for evaluating Technical Bid andPrice Bids 10.
Change Order management throughout the EPC contractduration, reviewing contractor estimates and ensuring compliancewith contract, developing company estimates, maintaining anauditable document trail, negotiating on behalf ofcompany.
