To identify key areas of risk invarious food operations for early remedial actions
To ensure compliance with the regulations, licensingconditions and codes of practice relating to foodbusinesses
To monitor the health condition offood handlers and to arrange medical examination or suspension ofwork where necessary
To provide in-housetraining for the food handlers
To supervisethe work of the Hygiene Supervisor (if any)
Tohandle complaints or enquiries from customers on food hygienematters
To act as a focal point of contactwith the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department
