The MIS Officer will gather and analyze information / data pertaining to Limits and collaterals, and all accounts of the portfolio, thereby enabling the section heads / department head to achieve and / or revise objectives.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
Perform all activities, as assigned by the Head of Credit Administration, in compliance with regulatory guidelines, and internal policies and procedures.
Analyze data, generate, compile and provide reports in relation to the portfolio.
Prepare daily summary reports to be reviewed by Head of Credit Administration and other stakeholders.
Provide all stakeholders (internal and external) with the required reports and Data.
Develop with ITD new control reports.
Prepare BRDs to improve and enhance the Core Banking System and other related systems.
Follow with ITD all tests and UATs for the Core Banking system and any other systems.
Initiate new ledgers in close coordination with IT department and Finance Department to ensure smooth operations, and, improvement of productivity and performance.
Prepare Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Semi Annually and annually reports.
Conduct with ITD and All stakeholders discussions related to enhancements of the Core Banking System and any other system.
Maintain database for the work flow and make the necessary enhancements to the current manual work flow ant try to automate it with the help from all stakeholders.
Maintain highest standards of confidentiality, professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the section.
University graduate with a degree in MIS
Experience / Skills
4-6 years of total experience in financial services / banking industry, previous experience in Credit Operation is plus.
Bilingual candidates preferred (Arabic / English)
Knowledge of banking operations.
Knowledge of core banking system (BANKS).
Understanding credit process.
Have good communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
