An exciting opportunity has arisen within Jaidah Group Electrical Division. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Supervisor with experience in selling electrical equipment to factories and oil and gas sector.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visit key accounts Government, semi-Government companies and large-scale private sector companies to create product awareness and generate sales.
  • Coach, Mentor and motivate a team sales engineers to achieve the team objective. Assessing their performance and based on that fine tune their performance.
  • Gather information on all upcoming projects in Qatar, including main contractors and project managers, and compile the information as a data source.
  • Visit consultants to obtain information on products specified for upcoming projects.
  • Visit contractors, consultants, and project managers to present technical information in order to generate orders.
  • Organize periodic technical seminars in coordination with the principals as well as marketing personnel.
  • Guide the subordinates in preparing the quotations as per requests from the contractors and key accounts
  • Monitoring the monthly forecasts to the actual for exceeding or achieving the stipulated team target.
  • Ensure and secure payment by negotiable instruments / by advance payments / by coordinating with Finance on approved credit terms
  • Support in minimizing receivables by facilitating collections through money collector and sales team.
  • Read and evaluate the reports provided by the sales team and provide feedback to the mangers for their follow on response.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports for the Manager Electrical Department and the MD Electrical.
  • Assist Principals with any commercial or technical information as required
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of 2-3 years in the same position as a Sales Supervisor is a must. (Priority shall be given to those who have sales experience in Electrical equipment such as motors and VFDs to factories
  • Experience in dealing with the shutdowns in the Oil & Gas Sector to promote electrical products.
  • KNOWLEDGE

  • Good contacts with end users & contractors in the Oil & Gas
  • Electrical sales market, particularly in the local region
