An operations manager must have vast organizational and leadership skills.Responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, front office, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.
Assists the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies. Ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
Builds relationships with key customers and is involved in the sales process.Responsibilities : Developing and Implementing strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest’s expectationsWork collaboratively with all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one anotherAnticipate all guest needs and respond promptly & accordinglySupport and work with all Head of Departments in all aspect of running Hotel.
Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive and serve the guest.Conduct regular operations team meeting with all HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, action taken for service recovery and staff issues.
Inspecting all departments from SOP implementation.Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth and efficient operations.
Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development.Monitor and maintain operation and overhead costEnsure SOP implementation in all departments.
Plan ahead and manage all food and beverage ordersHandle customer complaintsEnsure that guests are welcome into a clean and presentable environmentQualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience working in a 4-5-star hotel environmentMinimum 5 years hotel operations, front office and Sales & Marketing experience.
minimum of 2 years’ experience as a hotel Operations, front office Manager or Hotel ManagerThe Middle East experience preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Hospitality / Hotel / Business ManagementAbility to operate hotel computer systems, office equipment and hands-on professional.
