DohaDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises the activities of Waiters and Bus Boys assigned to his section of the restaurant by performing such duties as : Ensures guests are served courteously, efficiently as per the company standards.
Advises staff concerning the conduct and the proper handling of equipments.Ensures that they maintain the service station clean and in order.
Greets, receives and conducts guests to their tables.Presents menu, suggest food, wine and answer questions regarding food preparation and wine.
Takes and enters orders on to waiters order slips, relays orders to Waiters for delivery to Kitchen or Bar.Completes all necessary preparation of dishes in front of guests e.
g.CarvingPortioningFlambeing etc.Presents and serves food to guests from gueridon or serving dish in a proper sequence and timing.
accepts payments.Assigns any of his duties related to serving, to the Waiters and Bus Boys.Initiate requisitions for needed materials and supplies.
Accepts Guests' complaints and refers same to superior.Checks that mise-en-place is done in the correct order.Takes food and drink orders and ensures that they are served to the set standard.
Complies with Hotel's Health, Safety, Hygiene and Fire Policy.Assists Manager in training and appraising the performance of Waiters and Bus Boys.
Attend, daily briefings and ensure that daily specials are suggested to the guests.Participates in training sessions and meetings as and when required and ensures that check list, assignments given to him are implemented.
