About Your Role :
We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team in Qatar as a for Europe.
As the Regional Search Engine Marketing Officer based in Doha, you will be responsible for the executions of the airline’s European Pay Per Click campaigns whilst working closely with the Head Office Specialists.
One of the main focuses in this role will be the day to day management and execution of regional search marketing, including coordinating paid search programmes as well as analyzing and optimizing of all campaigns.
You will be in charge of coordinating marketing agency supported campaign management. You will also coordinate between the Head Office and the Regional Office to ensure global and regional search marketing campaigns are aligned and optimized for Return on Investment and revenue contribution.

Key Accountabilities :
Execute the airline's regional search marketing strategy to drive conversions and inquiries at qatarairways.com. Create, monitor and optimize regional campaigns across Search Engines.
Maintain regular contact with the European regions on performance levels, new ideas for campaign planning and to exchange best practices.
Coordinate efforts with marketing agencies and in house team and execute strict audit controls ensuring budget, workflows and reporting adherence.
Post implementation monitoring & analysis of the actual benefits vs the business.
Execute day to day activities of a multi million dollar regional search engine portfolio.
Create regional monthly KPI reporting for activities. Provide search related analysis, input and consultation to refine and improve on regional search marketing strategy.
Ensure that regional search marketing is aligned with airline industry and marketing trends.
About You :
The ideal candidate needs to meet the following requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing related studies combined with solid job-related experience.
Certification in search engine marketing would be preferred.
In depth understanding of SEM and the specific sales, marketing and distribution mechanisms to drive online sales and conversion.
Good knowledge of online sales and marketing technologies and latest industry trends across online retail and travel.
Experience in management of a global, multi-language search engine marketing programme.
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in creating and managing global, multi-language and large budget SEM campaigns
Experience with search management platforms such as Adobe Media Optimizer, DFS, Kenshoo etc.
Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture is preferred.
Fluency in English is essential.
