Title : Learning & Development SpecialistRole and ResponsibilityRevision of current healthcare competency framework, for frontline health care professionals, upskilling and professional development plans, in line with emerging health care service development plans.

  • Development of healthcare management and non-clinical occupational standards, supporting Corporate Strategic Plan, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Deliver and facilitate competency-based training programs and peer development forums for non-clinical Qatari national development, that will support Qatari enhanced skills and supervisory skills as appropriate, to greater team working culture and peer development.
  • Leading on an assessment tool and evaluation framework to assess performance, engagement, and evaluation, with recommendations for engaging and motivating a skilled and integrated workforce with professional non-clinical skills, and structured professional development in the workplace.
  • Establishing specialized coaching and mentorship program in both Arabic and English, supporting professional development plans for non-clinical frontline Qatari health care professionals (as aligned to non-clinical skills competency framework).
  • Assess and nurture workplace team readiness through professional development in workplace, and programs that encourage best practice health care service delivery and practice;
  • including establishment of a peer to peer learningDevelop and deliver e-library / e-Learning online blended learning resource specific to non-clinical (Qatari national skills and strategic plan delivery, incorporating leadership skills for management of people centered care, and integrated care.

    This includes current Learning Management System peer to peer forum, online e-Learning modules and e-Library resources specific to professional development plans.

    QualificationGraduate or post graduate with 5 years' experience in leading on a specialist national development program, working in the education or health sector (preferred)Other professional experience being considered for this role as an essential requisite includes : · Education management and delivery of competency-based skills development programs and accreditation· IT professional certification and eLearning delivery· Coaching and mentorship skills, facilitating learning in Arabic and English languages· Project management skills, performance reporting for strategy implementation, audit progress, standards compliance and governance· Workplace learning initiatives and peer development, through accredited CPD development programs Specialist experience in developing professional skills for Qatari nationals, teams, and experiential learning in the workplace· eLearning development and delivery in Arabic and English to promote peer learning and development· Working with specialist teams and experts to establish skills development framework, competency-based development pathways, management skills for supervisors and workplace learning initiatives that support experiential learning· Managing data, assessments, coaching and knowledge management skills, including development of PHCC leads to continue the programEssentially, the Non-Clinical Skills Development Trainer must observe : · Development of Qatari nationals as a national skills development program and effective learner evaluation· Bilingual skills in Arabic and English language to advanced levels· Strong training delivery, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills· Strong workplace learning management skills· Reporting and education assessment skills· An analytical mind for problem-solving, making recommendations For quality improvements and educationDuration : 6 months (possible extension)About Us : Watershed Management Consulting (http : / / www.
