Manage the BD and Sales department and develop a growth strategy.

Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders / Principals.
Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting client’s objectives
Plan approaches and pitches.
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the solution / service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up to date on industry news
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Attends networking events
Prepare high level reports and presentations.
Responsible for managing bids and ensuring that all bids are submitted on time and to a high standard
Proven working experience (at least 5 years) in business development
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
High level of communication and interpersonal skills
Strategy / Project Planning Skills
Degree qualified in appropriate Business Discipline
