Study the complete weld drawing and preparing the scan plans using Beam-Tool 6 software and Tomo-view for PAUT & TOFD Inspection of weld joints Make the setups in Phased array Omni scan Machine accordingly.
Calibration for all setups like (Velocity, Wedge delay, Sensitivity, TCG, Lateral and back-wall calibration, Encoder calibration using standard blocks) Demonstration of the technique with known flawed blocks in presence of the client and third independent parties.
Scanning of weld joints as per scan plan using appropriate scanners. Analysis of collected data using Tom-view 2.10, 2.9, 2.
7 software according to approved codes and standards like code case-2235 ASME B-31.1 code case 181, ASME section viii division 1 & division 2.
Report preparation with appropriate drawing and details. Carry out Immersion Ultrasonic Testing of tube to tube-sheet welding joints Scanning of structural weld joints, Nozzle welding, long seam, cir-
seam, piping joints for Ultrasonic Testing. Calibration of UT equipment for DAC, Velocity etc. Ultrasonic Testing of high alloy nickel steels.
Thickness measurement, evaluation of depth for RT repairs joints.
Preparation of Scan-Plans (PAUT & TOFD) for Nozzles, D’End Cir-seam, Cir-seam, Long-seam & complex geometrical joints with ESBM tool software.
NDT procedure writing for Ultrasonic Testing, PAUT & TOFD Techniques. Demonstration & qualification of NDT procedures (UT,PAUT & TOFD) Carry out PAUT & TOFD Inspection for long-
seam, cir-seam & nozzles of Pressure Vessels as per scan plan. Evaluation of the collected PAUT & TOFD data with Tomo-view software.
