ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Physics is a desired subject at this school at both GCSE and A Level. Last year, approximately 90% of students achieved A C grades and often move onto study at A level.

From 2020, students are following Edexcel curriculum which in 2022 will be graded from 9-1. The department is made up of 4 teachers, each having their own designated classroom in a well-resourced science block.

Students are encouraged to have a logical approach to science and enjoy gaining insight into ideas that contribute to global progress.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

UK qualified PGCE in Science with QTS or equivalent

Relevant degree

Be able to provide police clearances from every country of residence as an adult

Have experience delivering the National Curriculum of England at the appropriate Key Stage(s)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
