JOB PURPOSE :
You will develop, coordinate and maintain HIA's Risk Management System for all operational and non-operational functions directly under HIA management accountability and supports overall coordination with other stakeholders.
In alignment with HIA’s risk tolerance, you will guide department heads to select, develop and implement cost-effective strategies to help mitigate the identified risk impacts.
You will be responsible of the implementation, monitoring, auditing and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and ensure its compliance with ISO 22301 and other recognized international best practices.
Development and Implementation of the Management Systems :
Responsible of the strategic direction, leadership and management of the Business Continuity and Risk Management Systems for Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Report the Business Continuity and Risk Management status of business departments to top management.
Represent HIA at national and international Business Continuity and Risk Management meetings.
Interpret and comply with the requirements of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and Qatar legislation applicable to the Business Continuity and Risk Management, ensure they are embedded within the organization effectively to assist HIA to create high quality Business Continuity plans and exercises.
Leading the relevant Managers and heads of departments to support them on the selection of control measures as well as ensuring that those comply with the necessary recovery times.
Thus, ensuring the smooth operations of critical functions and a degraded level of service of non-critical functions.
Responsible for strengthening the risk governance structure to ensure sound risk management throughout HIA by implementing, monitoring and continuously improving a risk management framework.
Design the risk management framework that includes risk assessment. Ensuring quality assurance is in place against relevant standards (e.
g. IS0 31000 : 2018) and best practices. Review, assess and report significant risks and issues identified or reported by the business in line with the incident management process, support HIA's departments in developing control measures by developing business continuity strategies to ensure critical functions can continue operating in case of disruption, also it will help in the development and implementation of pro-
active measures that will assist in reducing the likelihood of disruptive events.
About You : : Qualifications :
Qualifications : Essential :
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level.
Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), Disaster Recovery Institute (CBCP) or similar certification.
Previous Experience : Essential :
Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
Experience of being part of a team implementing Business Continuity Standard ISO 22301 within a major international airport with significant traffic movements.
Experience in developing and implementing Business Continuity and risk management policies and processes.
Previous experience in Crisis Management and development of Airport Emergency Plan.
Job Specific Skills :
Working knowledge of Business Continuity Management ISO : 22301 and ISO : 22313, Risk Management ISO : 31000, incident management and emergency response, as well as the recognized BCM industry standards.
Working knowledge of ACI / ICAO / IATA regulations.
Working knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), contracts and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs).
