Support theContent Marketing Director with the development of the SC, hostcountry and LOC-related marketing strategies, in alignment with theoverarching goals, with particular attention to the Contentstrategy.
Ensure integrationbetween content activities and other Content Marketing functions(digital marketing, film and photo production, Q22 official app),the broader Marketing & Communications Department, the SC,host country and LOC’s broader goals andactivities.
Development andevolution of the Event vision, mission, values and objectives asthe foundation and guidelines for development of content strategyand implementation, consistent in terms of style, quality and toneof voice, on-brand, and optimised for search and userexperience.
Ensure the ongoingeffectiveness of overall offline and online content efforts, aswell as individual activations.
Manage content development for campaigncreation including content strategy, segmentation, support, timing,assets, and overall performance.
Manage the operations of the Content team,including English and Arabic Content and Language Services, on allhost country, SC corporate, and LOC projects and deliverables, asrequired.
Responsible for thewriting, reviewing and / or editing of all content produced for theSC, host country and LOC, including material for use in above theline and below the line marketing campaigns, videos andpublications, in addition to reviewing content produced in draftform by other departments within the SC that will be distributedexternally, to ensure that content meets all relevantguidelines.
Lead the creation andregular updating of the SC’s and Host Country’sArabic and English style guides to foster organisation-wideconsistency in written communications.
Oversee the localisation / translation of allmarketing content into Arabic and other languages, asnecessary.
Work with the FilmProduction Senior Manager to conceptualise, produce and deliver allSC, host country and tournament films, including those produced bythe in-house film production unit and those delivered by externalagencies.
Work with other membersof the Marketing Department to create and maintain integratedmarketing reports that provide visibility into the effectiveness ofall marketing projects and, as a team, recommend and implementimprovements when necessary.
Conduct ongoing usability tests to gaugecontent effectiveness by gathering data and handling analytics (orsupervising those who do) and making recommendations based on thoseresults.
Develop standards, systemsand best practices (both human and technological) for contentcreation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and contentrepurposing, including the real-time implementation of contentstrategies.
Establish work flowsfor requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiringcontent.
Serve as a content expertto communicate and secure alignment and approval across multiplelevels of management, as required.
Identify key external stakeholders anddetermine the best ways to engage them content-wise
Assist the Marketing Director in reviewingprogress against KPIs and objectives on a monthly, quarterly andannual basis, as required.
Linemanagement responsibility for all capability resources, including : IDPs, objectives, leave plans, job descriptions, performancemanagement and appraisals.
Assistthe Content Marketing Director to ensure that all team membersacquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriatetraining programmes, in coordination with the HR &Administration function.
