Reporting to the Chair - Advanced CareParamedicine, Environmental Health, and Occupational Health, Safetyand Environment, the successful candidate will be responsible forthe development and delivery simulation activities within theSchool of Health Sciences.
S / he will assist in evaluating studentprogress and managing the resources required for simulationactivities. The successful candidate will liaise with industry andother educational institutions;
participate in industry advisorycommittees and coordinate, manage, and control simulation projectswithin the School of Health Sciences and other institutions.
Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required foraccreditation processes and engage in instructionaldevelopment / improvement plans.
All employees are expected tocontribute to professional and community life within the Collegeand beyond. Qualifications A Masters Degree in a health-relateddiscipline from a recognized, accredited institution, a minimum of years experience in healthcare simulation in apost-secondary, adult training, or industry training environment,and a minimum of 5 years of employment experience as a health carepractitioner / professional within a relevant discipline. Experienceoperating a variety of software programs and audio-visual equipmentused for simulation activities
Experience using andmaintaining a wide variety of medical equipment and supplies

Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluateauthentic learning experiences and assessments incorporatingcontemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning incontext and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudesidentified in program outcomes.
