  • Process all guest check-ins byconfirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activatingroom key.
  • Process all payment types such asroom charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
  • Process all check-outs including resolving any late anddisputed charges.
  • Answer, record, and processall guest calls, messages, requests, questions, orconcerns.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping totrack readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests / visitors anddispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regardingproperty and local areas of interest.
  • Rundaily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify anyspecial requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in thecomputer system.
  • Cash guests' personalchecks and traveler's checks.
  • Countbank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accountingspecifications.
