Required Education
High School / Higher NationalDiploma.
JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Conduct weldinginspection and work related to : Joint Fit up, Root run, Dyepenetrant test, Magnetic Particle test, Hardness testing, viewingand interpreting Radiography.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
Mechanical Integrity Inspection ofStationary Equipment
Welding Inspection : Joint Fit up, Root run, Dye penetranttest, Magnetic Particle test, Hardness testing, viewing andinterpreting Radiography.
Welder PerformanceQualification, Managing Repair alteration sheets, Management ofChange Process.
Internal and externalinspection of Pressure envelope (vessels, columns, piping,Exchanger, Valves etc.).
Inspection ofsurfaces, coating and painting, Refractory.
Inspection of Corrosion under insulation.
Carrying out Dye Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle test,Radiography interpretation, Positive Metalidentification. Hardnesstesting, Video Probe inspection / Boroscopy.
Building Corrosion Circuits, Ultra sonic Thicknessmonitoring of pipes and vessels. Collects baseline as well asscheduled monitoring data for equipment and updates insoftware.
Assists Static Equipment Engineer inPreparing and managing Risk based Inspection.
Management of Stationary Equipment relatedreports, tools and contracts.
Maintain and calibrate all inspection tools as perschedule.
Ensure that sufficient inventory ofinspection consumables are available.
Prepareinspection reports on Thickness survey, Welding inspection,Internal and external inspection in Meridium software.
Perform as designated site representative for contractsrelated to ERG. Ensure the safety of Contract workforce.

Contributeto the identification of opportunities for the continuousimprovement of systems, processes and practices in order toincrease productivity and operational efficiency.
Implement all relevant policies, processes, proceduresand instructions of Project Engineering Section so that work iscarried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements andrelevant quality, health, safety, security and environmentalprocedures and controls across Instrument and Electrical Section toguarantee employee safety and delivery of high qualityproducts / services.
Reporting
Contribute to the preparation of timely andaccurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies andstandards.
