DohaAbout Your JobAs a Senior Manager Contracts, you will be responsible to lead and manage a team of Contract and Legal Specialists, to review and negotiate major contracts across the QR Group.
You will be in charge of ensuring that Contracts entered into comply with all applicable policies and procedures and are beneficial to Qatar Airways thereby minimizing Qatar Airways exposure to risk.
Additionally you will support the research and preparation function of contracting and negotiation strategies.Accountabilities : In this role you would be responsible for developing and implementing procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
As appropriate, contribute to or influence company contractual policies. You would be in charge of negotiating, drafting and implementing a wide variety of complex, multi-party agreements, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances.
Additionally, as a Senior Manager, you would coordinate the development and management of strategic contracts in accordance with corporate requirements, supporting legal requirements and procedures to secure and protect the business interests of the company in matters related to contracts.
At the same time you would facilitate the development and maintenance of strategic procedures for contracts and procurement.
In addition to that, you would review, draft, interpret and negotiate major contracts to monitor the risk, minimize exposure and make sure contracts are protected.
Also, you would seek out, propose and implement approved business process improvements to facilitate achieving high performance standards.
You would be assisting and supporting other Qatar Airways Departments with contract interpretation and implementation, providing proactive legal assistance and advice on various issues such as dispute resolution and regulatory matters.
Continuously review and update Template Contacts and standards Term and Conditions ensuring they meet with Company requirements and interests.
Finally you would be managing a team and assisting them in problem solving, actively manage the team workload, setting priorities, coaching and assisting in problem solving.
Establish the team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. In this position, you will oversee and supervise employees directly activities, train, develop and ensure discipline to achieve a high standard of serviceAbout YouThe successful candidate you would have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with Recognized Degree in Law.
Candidates who have Master’s Degree or equivalent are preferred. In order to be considered for this role, you would have minimum of 10 years of Executive Management job-related experience with experience in Aviation industry.
You would possess excellent negotiation and communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
