Job Purpose To partake in the formulation and development of legal function policies strategy plans aligning with QIG strategic direction policies business plan and Board directives proactively provide progressive comprehensive responsive and unambiguous legal advisory and support services for QIG and its subsidiaries to mitigate related risks prevent and resolve associated legal matters consistently achieving targets with continuous commitment to innovation BestPractice and assuring compliance with the statutory requirements and applicable standards within the scope of responsibility Job Responsibilities Partake in the formulation and development of legal function policies strategy plans aligning with QIG strategic direction policies business plan and Board directives Partake in the preparation of the annual business plan and associated budget for the area s within the scope of responsibility Partake in developing and optimizing processes and resources for the area s within the scope of responsibility Proactively gather information and documents conduct legal research and analysis recommend and take appropriate actions accordingly for the area s within the scope of responsibility Proactively provide progressive comprehensive responsive and unambiguous legal advisory and support services for QIG and its subsidiaries within the scope of responsibility Prepare and assure legal correspondences contracts and other related documents for the area s within the scope of responsibility Effectively partake in contracts negotiations to assure the enforceability of their terms and conditions and preserve the best interests of QIG and its subsidiaries for the area s within the scope of responsibility Followup on legal agreements to ensure that they are fully implemented and respond to queries within the scope of responsibility Partake in ensuring proactive and effective measures actions and controls are in place to mitigate risks and assure compliance with the statutory requirements and applicable standards for the area s within the scope of responsibility Ensure effective dissemination of information and documents for the area s within the scope of responsibility Partake in the establishment and development of effective dashboards of KPIs and scorecards to monitor the effectiveness of the deployed policies strategies plans for the area s within the scope of responsibility Effectively liaise with relevant internal and external concerned parties to assure the timely and optimal execution of the planned activities for the area s within the scope of responsibility Prepare timely and accurate reports for the area s within the scope of responsibility Maintain uptodate knowledge on local statutory requirements applicable standards global trends and technological advancements in the core lines of the operations at the area s within the scope of responsibility and utilize this knowledge to develop performance Ensure that data information documentations and reports for the area s within the scope of responsibility are kept updated and archived physically and electronically in line with the approved policy Identify and propose improvement initiatives based on current performance and or future requirements and partake in their implementation for the area s within the scope of responsibility Assure the provision of timely and attentive quality service to customers ensuring that their requirements are fulfilled and their queries and concerns are effectively addressed in a manner that achieves their satisfaction and reflects positively on performance
