Department

PRODUCTION (REFINING)

Primary purpose of job

Provides Technical support to Production Manager, with a view to ensure safe, efficient and optimal functioning of various operating units and systems as per plan.

Technical Study, Review and Economic Analysis of New Projects and Corporate initiatives. Responsible for recovery of precious metals like Platinum, Palladium and Rhenium and for regeneration of spent catalyst.

Responsible for integrating new projects into existing system. Carries out QP Refinery profitability management from production views.

Develops departmental KPIs. Identify new projects and schemes to improve overall Refinery performance, implement new Corporate business improvement inititiatives.

Experience & Skills

  • 20 Years post graduate experience in Petroleum Refinery.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Ability to arbitrate and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of contracts.
  • Experience with economic evaluations and project financing.
  • Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
