  • Ability to negotiate terms,conditions and commercial issues with contractors.
  • Management and coordination of the awardprocess.
  • Development of contract documentsincluding tender documents.
  • Able to analyzecontract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of risksuch as ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope ofwork.
  • As work proceeds, make recommendations to the Project Manageron the mitigation of these risks; able to closely monitor andsupport remedial actions and recommend appropriatetradeoffs.

  • Management of Owner approvalprocess.
  • Monitor contract correspondence andprovide appropriate input to protect the client against potentialclaims.
  • Management of claims avoidanceactivities.
