Key responsibilities :

  • Assist in thecoordination and administration of all items related to the accessteam across all official venues, including shift management,training and other administrative duties.
  • Implementation and set up of the client access managementsystem including ensuring correct rule set up, access controlequipment roll out to security personnel, training of all users,testing and onsite operations and troubleshooting.
  • Development and production of access controlboards.
  • Planning, mapping and checking of keyclient flows, vertical transportation and ingress points onto venuemaps and communication of flows and ingress points to all clientgroups via the provision of access manuals and access tours.
  • Thisincludes all flows and planned routes for disabled people andpeople with limited mobility.

  • Provision of keywayfinding information as required to the client Signage andDressing to ensure wayfinding on site is correct and as per allclient flows.
  • Ensure that all wayfinding meets the Accessibilitystandards and requirements.

  • Act as key liaisonwith all functional areas with regard to any access related issuesor questions. Facilitate additional and exceptional accessrequirements during the tournament.
  • Qualifications and experience :

  • Universitydegree in an appropriate subject or demonstrabletraining / vocational training
  • Minimum 2 yearsexperience in the sport event industry, preferably within accessmanagement, accreditation, safety and security or venue management.
  • Experience within a stadium environment is an asset.

  • Operation and / or set up of complex access control systemswithin ticketing and / or accreditation
  • Wayfinding and route planning in a stadiumenvironment
  • Demonstrative ability of workingacross multiple venues concurrently
  • Writingand production of manuals and training materials
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service inpressurized situations
  • A methodical andanalytical approach to completing work, with excellent attention todetail
  • Ability to communicate and collaborateeffectively with colleagues
  • Excellentpresentation skills
  • Creative and positiveproblem solving skills
  • English fluency spoken and written (required)
  • Arabic fluency an advantage
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Visio & Project)
  • Planning software andonline collaboration tools (an asset)
