Incumbent to ensureproper and efficient execution of his tasks in line with store andcompany policies and guidelines; in such a manner as to ensure theavailability of the products, do product assortments, and monitorand maintain freshness and quality of products on display to meetfood standards.
Check the product merchandiseto ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed.
Report any merchandise discrepancies, disposals based oninventory, profit and loss to the department head
Cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and missinglabels.
Closely monitoring expiry productsdisplayed and in warehouse so that the older products can bereplaced with new ones.
Takes inventory andidentifies reorder needs for approval from Supervisor.
During delivery ensure practice of First in First out(FIFO) upon putting products on display.
Ensure equipment's are cleaned and maintained ingood condition.
Consistent in quality checksthrough the day, on product freshness, and stockrefilling.
Be able to identify sensitiveproducts and quality assurance at all times.
Assists and suggest to Supervisor depleted stocks forre-ordering based on the movement in the stock shelves.
Ensure that customers receive satisfactory service andquality goods
Assist customers in findingrequested items or any concern related to pricing.
He has to keep the aisles clean and organized for thecustomers to easily find what they are looking for.
Ensure safety rules, production and sanitation standardsare met.
