Hill International is seeking to employ a Power Systems Manager with transportation, rail, metro or tram construction experience, for one of its on-going projects in Qatar.
Experience in LRT and APS Traction systems
Responsible for all systems engineering related to Power Systems : Requirements, Design, RAMS, Sustainability, EMC, Verification & Validation, Manufacture and Installation, Test and Commissioning ,Operations and Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Safety Case approval, Operational Readiness.
Manage Power Systems Engineering Team.
Resposible for the Delivery of the Power Systems System and Integration into the Railway.
Responsible for outline design / specifications / Tender design and tender documents for the Power Systems System contract.
Responsible for the implementation programme for Power Systems System Contract.
Responsible for activities during the tender process pre-bid meetings, clarifications to tender queries, tender addendum, etc.
Responsible for tender evaluation and prepare tender evaluation report (technical and financial) and perform other activities leading to award of the Power Systems System contract
Responsiblie for Technical contract documents.
Project management of the Power Systems System through to operational validation and final acceptance.
Manage the Power Systems System Team's role and interfaces with other systems during the implementation stage for review and proof checking of contractor's design, equipment specification and all other submissions, and supervision and monitoring of the installation, testing and commissioning of the works.
Handle day-to-day technical matters.
Attend meetings with client senior management, contractors and other stake holders
Integrated testing of Power Systems with system interfaces.
Responsible for delivery of relevant O&M strategies.
Responsible for the planning and training of O&M staff.
Responsible for day-to-day activities, reports, budgeting and optimal capacity utilization of resources.
Coordinating and following up with client to ensure progress as per the agreed scope and overall project schedule.
Expert in Railway Power Systems systems.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline
20 years’ experience
Previous experience working on similar rail, tram or metro projects
Excellent communication and computer skills
Excellent command of the English Language
