The RoleCLIENT Linum Consult’s client is an international engineering company currently seeking a QA Manager from a client-

side or PMC background (not main contractor) background to develop and implement their company-wide Quality Assurance policies and procedures, based in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s quality plan in accordance with client requirements, to ensure the delivery of a quality project

Applying quality systems and tools to validated and verify contractually required standards for project execution

Leading and managing a QA / QC team to successfully deliver the project to the required quality standards

Communicating the quality plan and its objectives to staff, consultants, and contractors

Supporting all consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality plans and procedures and monitoring their performance on all Quality matters

Developing and implementing audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits

Developing statistical reports on Quality performance

Identifying and communicating lessons learned through the project life cycle

Managing the project quality control testing service

Coordinating and managing any third-party audits as required Requirements PROFILE

12 years of experience in quality assurance for highways or infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or similar, with a QA qualification and IRCA Lead Assessor ISO 9001 certificate

Extensive experience working for end-clients or PMCs

Demonstrable background in the implementation and compliance to ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001

Previous history of working in the Middle East
