    DIVISION SUMMARY

    The Marketing division is in charge of Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Product

    Management. It is responsible for selling the products and services and being entrusted with the

    most important corporate asset : The Customer. The function creates new business from existing

    products / services and new products both in existing and new markets. Marketing function defines

    the organization''''''''s overall communications strategy and contributes to the company's growth

    The Marketing Director position is responsible for strategic activities in relation to Sales, Business

    Development, Account Management, Product Management and company revenues. The position

    should define and execute key product and business strategies to drive positive business results and

    commercial success defined by revenue, financial growth, user growth, usage, and value. She / he is

    responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience and establishing a differentiated and

    scalable position in the industry. Financial compensation for this position is tightly tied to meeting

    financial targets of the division. The position should have consistent focus on strong, long-term

    relationships with key customers.

    JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate
  • objectives for products and services.

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets; projecting
  • expected sales volume and revenue for existing and new products.

  • Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Own the top responsibility for lead generation, lead conversion and customer experience.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and
  • demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Develop and manage sales operating budgets.
  • Meet with key clients, assist sales representative with maintaining relationships and
  • negotiate and close deals.

  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Facilitate coordination with other Divisions on pre-sales activities
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of
  • proposed client base expansion.

  • Develop, implement and manage a Key Account Management multi-disciplinary strategy
  • around key customers.

  • Cultivate client relationships, including ongoing communications?for add-on business,
  • reporting, product enhancement requests and up selling within client organization

  • Negotiate contracts and other business documents to further deal management
  • Assume ownership of using the company's CRM system, and ensure up to date record
  • keeping and proper system utilization

  • Develop and Administer the Sales Compensation process
  • Anticipate and mitigate short- and long-term risks that would potentially hinder
  • successful implementation of strategies and plans

  • Develop sales policies & procedures, standards, and methodologies, particularly the
  • Develop contractual terms and conditions and other legal sales frameworks and ensure
  • legal compliance especially with respect to proposal bidding and tenders

  • Ensure timely collection of all invoices and take ownership for any outstanding bills.
  • Identify and develop new sources of revenue for the company both through additional
  • solutions in existing markets and also by developing regional and new markets.

  • Assess new business opportunities both qualitatively and quantitatively, evaluating
  • strategic fit, financial valuation and impact

  • Investigate emerging technologies and their relevance against internal competencies by
  • analyzing vendor offerings and potential partnership arrangements.

  • Establish and manage relationships with strategic partners and service providers to
  • enable a smooth procurement process

    Marketing and MARCOM

  • Design, execute and evaluate long- and short-term integrated marketing and sales
  • campaigns for the company's various revenue streams.

  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing communications and public relations
  • program that will enhance the company's image and position within the marketplace

  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce
  • the highest possible long-term value.

  • Ensure effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee
  • that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.

  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing
  • market and competitive conditions.

  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influence's and key strategic partners.
  • Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines,
  • promotional materials, and events.

  • Represent company at trade association and meetings to promote product.
  • Assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical
  • publications for both external and internal consumption.

  • Source and manage relationships with and evaluate the effectiveness of outsourced
  • providers of marketing services.

  • Implement new practices in marketing communications to grow revenues and to assist
  • the other departments in the delivery of a strong return on investment.

  • Advice and develop strategies on the company's media and public relations, advertising,
  • external communications as well as market and customer research.

  • Plan and assist with the implementation of public relations programs designed to create

  • Create internal company literature and other forms of communication, highlighting the
  • challenges and the achievements of the company.

  • Develop internal and external communication strategies and goals including press
  • releases, collegiate website and other publications.

  • Develop ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other
  • public relations activities that promote awareness of the company and its products.

  • Develop and use low-cost unconventional marketing tactics that yield maximum results
  • Look for the latest trends online and make effective use of social media for promoting
  • and creating awareness about the products.

  • Develop and use external advertising as and when needed.
  • Product Development and Management

  • Lead, oversee and agree the development of the iproduct strategy and plans within the
  • Identify and define the market segment(s) for the product portfolio
  • Conduct routine analysis and bench marking across the company's products vs. the
  • Manage product life cycle for all products with views for product definition,
  • development, implementation, versioning and support.

  • Direct product research and development of new products.
  • Assist with development, articulation, execution, and evangelism of the company's
  • strategic product road map

  • Maintain cross-project view of product development to manage feature definition and
  • prioritization across clients and products

  • Define white spaces (adjacent and distinct) surrounding existing products, within and
  • around the portfolio, into new opportunities for all products.

  • Identify and agree with each Product Manager the market scope and core functional
  • coverage for each product within the portfolio.

  • Work with the development team to define, deliver and deploy quality, well-defined
  • time-bound product releases.

  • Maintain division staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning,
  • monitoring, and appraising job results

  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to team of Managers
  • Develop various team structures and job descriptions, and built the teams ensuring that
  • key positions are filled with capable incumbents

  • Build and develop robust process and systems for the individual teams under supervision.
