manager in all operational and administrative aspects of the MO Club and be able to prioritise the required level of engagement between the administrative part and the front house service delivery and take charge of the outlet and the department in his absence Enforce and monitor that all operational standards as per our policies SOP and quality measures are in place at all times Have an excellent understanding of the member s club concept membership benefits for each tier category and all related standards in order to recommend and verbally explain those to members and guests Ensure that members are well informed about the other facilities of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Doha including all F B outlets the basic banqueting facilities and outside catering options as well the SPA offerings Support the Club General Manager to supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the outlet at all times and as assigned carry out monthly or more frequent walkthroughs with the respective engineering and housekeeping colleagues and follow up accordingly on the produced reports to achieve an immaculate environment Support the Club General manager to supervise the side duty schedules for all positions and ensure compliance and follow through Maintain a good relationship and steady communication with the Chef de Cuisine and his team particularly during operation hours Constantly identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports guest comment cards and guest incident reports and share observations and recommendations with the outlet manager Observe all aspects of the business forecasts and assist the Club General Manager to plan effectively to make most efficient arrangements for manpower equipment and supplies accordingly Support the Club General Manager to maintain a clear overview of all IG point of sales related set ups and carry out regular check on accuracy of all items Ensure accuracy of all menus current spelled correctly clean and presentable and ascertain menu description are up to date and distributed appropriately Follow all procedures policies and practices with regard to the Jardine accounting related requirements for F B outlets Oversee and maintain solid records of all Annual Leave and Public Holiday clearance and assure none are accumulated within the outlet Support the Club General Manager in monitoring the monthly P L and carry out regular detailed analysis of outlet related financial information Observe the competition current market and international trends prices with the market and other new ideas and forward them to the Club General Manager Assist the Club General Manager to plan and execute special promotional activities for the outlets and plan for festive season events related to the outlet Assist the Club General Manager to oversee all correspondence and fulfilment of new members in executed flawlessly and member s data base is constantly updated maintained and managed by the Club Service Executive and that all preferences of member s are being acted on appropriately Possessing a strong sense of discretion and be able to uphold a high level of confidentiality in the MO Club Oversee the daily operation of the outlet and manage shifts effectively to assure a smooth and effective overall operation Ensure that reservations are managed well within the outlet and seating capacities are effectively maximised Attend and participate all required meetings as scheduled Requirements Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Hotel Business Management Experience as Assistant Club or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a high volume restaurant or exclusive members club with highest levels of service is preferred Experience interacting with high net worth individuals A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a 5star hotel environment including 1 year in Food and Beverage International work experience in at least two of the following regions Asia Europe North America and preferably Middle East is preferred Restaurant preopening or renovation experience is preferred Experience in Hotel Guest Relations desirable
