  • Develop and execute the functional strategy in line with the departmental strategy to ensure the achievement of departmental objectives in due course, costs and quality.

  • Assist in the development of the department’s annual business plan, KPIs and budget,

  • Assist in the development and Implementation of policies, procedures, and operational standards for the function in line with the departmental policies and procedures

  • Oversee Organizational Learning Initiatives to ensure the quality, consistency and organizational alignment of learning interventions with operational competence and capability goals.
  • Design, develop and deliver a strategic corporate learning program and ensure its alignment with the current and future talent requirements of the organization.
  • Establish a structured methodology for formal evaluation of learning interventions and report on their effectiveness and where necessary proactively recommend changes to it.
  • Develop an organization-wide competency and occupation based learning matrix to improve productivity and support career development of the employees.
  • Ensure all the learning and training interventions are duly planned, scheduled, delivered and evaluated for their effectiveness.
  • Propose innovative and result-oriented learning interventions and technologies to enhance human capital productivity.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador for learning and establish a culture of continuous learning in the organization.
  • Manage the Education Sponsorship and Scholarship programs in line with talent management strategy and ensure their delivery up to the management expectations.
  • Professionally deliver and manage in-house high level learning and development programs and events.
  • As a senior and experienced practitioner, provide professional mentorship and coaching to staff to enhance their behavioural competencies.
  • Work in concert with Information Technology to design, acquire, evaluate, integrate and implement new and complex education systems to support innovative education activities.
  • Manage the design and delivery of an organization-wide mandatory orientation program.
  • Manage learning providers based on their industrial impact, recognition and repute and maintain collaborative relationships with them to support the learning initiatives.
  • Oversee professional collaboration, liaison, networking and teamwork systems to ensure strong professional relationships within and across diverse work teams and departments.
  • Oversee organization-wide learning recording and the preparation and submission of regular and complex reports related to learning activity and cost.
  • Provide timely, accurate, data-driven and considered advice to the leadership and management in regards to Organizational Learning strategies and initiatives.
  • Plan and manage departmental staff, assets and resources effectively to maximize outcomes and goals achievement.
  • Provide insights on organization’s talent capacity; highlight any challenges to it and take appropriate measures to avoid any talent management concerns
  • Bachelor in Organizational Development / HR / Industrial Psychology or related field. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership coaching / mentorship.
  • Professional L&D Qualifications / Certifications (CIPD, CAHRI, SPHR, ASTD)
