Rixos Qetaifan Island North
Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark.
The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination.
One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.
Chef de Partie - Hotel
Chef de Partie is a supervisory position (if Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chefs are not available). They are primarily responsible for preparing guest food and maintaining kitchen sanitation to Health Department standards.
They are supervised by the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef on duty.

What you will be doing :
Oversee the day-to-day operation of his or her station, ensuring best practice and adhering to the hotel Standards, policies and procedures.
Helps Sous Chef to develop and implement menus, trends, training and quality initiatives to ensure that the hotel's business goals are achieved, all in line with company brand standards.
Prepares and arranges food in strict accordance with hotel recipes and nutrition philosophy.
Prepares and sets up workstation as directed.
Continually updated knowledge of hotel recipes, flavor profile and food preparation.
Performs opening and closing procedures as directed.
Reports any discrepancies in recipe procedures, ingredients, yields or measurements to supervisor so the recipes can be corrected.
Performs regular inventory of product, to maintain proper par levels.
Adheres to hotel standards for guest service.
Stores and handles food properly, following Health Department requirements.
Refers guest problems or complaints to a supervisor.
Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
Complies and turns in monthly inventory.
Trains staff members as directed; cleans kitchen as directed.
Responsible for the sanitary handling of all food, food by-products, and finished food products. Also responsible for the general cleanliness of their particular workstation and the accompanying walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
Performs other job-related duties as directed
Supervise the activities of the Demi Chef de Partie and the Cooks.
Your experience and skills include :
A 2-year degree / certificate in culinary arts is preferred, but not required.
Must have a minimum of two years' experience in food preparation, preferably at a resort or hotel.
Must be familiar with the process of and working with large quantities of food.
Must have a thorough understanding of cooking techniques and be able to apply those techniques.
Must have a cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and be able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to work any day, any schedule.
Must be neat and clean in appearance.
Must be able to take pride in hotel and its standards of excellence in food preparation and cleanliness.
Must have strong communication skills with supervisors and other hotel staff.
Experience in the hotel industry. High level of competency in own job.
Good knowledge of English.
