Job Purpose

  • To perform allfinancial transactions in risk free manner while maintaining the set servicestandards at all times.
  • Ensure adherence topolicies and processes whilst trying to minimize operational losses.
  • To handle branchrelated counter transactions and replace CSM during his / her absence.
  • Key Result Areas

  • Process all countertransactions accurately and swiftly and in accordance with the laid downprocedures.
  • Strive towardsreducing wait time and serve time by efficient processing of all transactions.
  • Strive towardsmanaging customer expectation for each interaction.
  • Ensure zero risk ofcash differences by diligently, accurately and attentively processing all cashtransactions as well as ensuring accurate delivery of cash to customers at alltimes.
  • Ensure accuratedelivery / receipt of cash to / from customers at all times.
  • Be vigilant and alerton any possible frauds and risks.
  • Provide continuousfeedback and seek guidance and assistance and approval from direct supervisoron any irregular / or suspicious transaction.
  • Adhere to transactionslimits, override approval and call back processes at the counter.
  • Errors freetransactional report checking.
  • Investigate thoroughlyany differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other securityitems by following the standard process of checking / scrutiny / investigation.
  • Adhere to all policiesand processes to ensure an acceptable risk rating of the counter area by Audit.
  • Assist CSM in handlingday to day transactional and branch related activities.
  • Endeavor to reducecustomer wait time and serve time by efficient and risk free processing of allcounter related transactions at the branch.
  • Ensure effective andtimely implementation of changes / modifications to the processes and policiesmade by centralized support units.
  • Ensure custodianshipof all security items related to counter transactions.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • In depth knowledge of counter related and dependent processes.
  • Basic accounting and reporting knowledge.
  • Must possess good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure.
  • Should be detail oriented, quick with numbers, very vigilant.
  • Ability to handle routine work with the same enthusiasm and vigor.
  • Processes related to financial transactions.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • University graduate with 3-4 years of experience in handling cash related function.
