Familiar with pertinent process and procedures and related programming practices, software, and hardware to provide required analysis of users’ problems.
Test and debug computer programs maintained internally or software patches & Fixes sent by software Vendors before placing it to production environment.
Interact with end-users to transform their business requirements into functional specifications and to pass it to Technical Staff or Software vendors.
Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshop to end users for the use of computer applications.
Participate in analyzing current and proposed departmental / user software systems.Work with clinical end users to document business processes and guide them through complex application functionality.
Interact with hardware and software vendors / contractors to solve installation, configuration and operational problems. Identify problem trends and provide information that can be used to eliminate recurring problems.
Implement application security and create user access& user menus as required.Assist in developing training plans and delivery of training programsRequired Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Health CareMinimum 5 years of experience in applications of enterprise-wide IT projects (some of which must have involved implementing Cerner Millennium and / or CareStream)Strong Interpersonal skillsPersonal drive, commitment and being a self-starter.
