Role and Responsibilities : Working closely with the Stakeholder Engagement Lead and Team, manage engagement with one (or possibly more depending on the scale of the project) project stakeholders across local authorities, Central Government & statutory and non-statutory bodies (including environment & technical organizations), industry & business, land & property, communities and other parties to establish strong working relationships.

This means working with such authorities as KAHRAMAA, Ashghal, Qatar Government and Customs Department, MOI etc.Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy.

Manage stakeholder mapping and prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiriesManage stakeholder engagement coordinators, providing guidance and directing their workload activities to ensure timescales and requirements are metWork collaboratively with other members of the project team, liaising with other Stakeholder Managers in the stakeholder team and the PMO (project management office)Provide briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholdersArrange and attend stakeholder meetings with technical team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timescalesPrepare and manage workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reportsEnsure accurate audit trail maintained of all stakeholder engagement and all contact / activities are recorded on stakeholder databaseAttend client-facing meetings, collaborative planning workshops and report to client on progressProvide input into weekly / monthly reports for PMO and Project BoardSkillsMinimum 10+ year experience in the GCC, preferably with a background in construction and InfrastructureSignificant experience of managing engagement with one or more of the stakeholder cohort referred to above and statutory bodies on major high profile public sector infrastructure or regeneration projectsAppreciation of the infrastructure-related political environmentExperience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement plansA clear understanding of issues pertaining to project development and preferably familiarity with the requirements of authorization processesProven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses / narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiativeGood interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team playerStrong project management and people management skillsFamiliarity with using various CRM systems essentialHigh degree of accuracy in executing workAbility to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlinesBroader project communications experience and skills desirableJob Type : Full-timeExperience : Construction : 10 years (Required)Location : Doha (Required)
