The Assistant Pastry Chef holds a leadership position. The management of food costs and production control is important to reduce wastage in addition to the culinary training that the Assistant Pastry Chef provides for all pastry kitchen employees on a daily basis.
We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and are passionate to develop their management skills within the hotel industry, have creativity and flair and the ability to provide guidance to others, and are able to evidence good business acumen and a strong work ethic.
The Assistant Pastry Chef is responsible for Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Pastry Kitchen Department responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency.
Applicants are required to have four to 3-5 years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in pastry.
leadership t experience is required and culinary qualifications are essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Degree Holder, preferably in Culinary.
2-3 years of experience Management experience.
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
