Primary purpose of job
Assist and support the Department Manager on performing his functions by carrying out various clerical and secretarial duties including answering telephone calls, taking shorthand, typing, maintaining appointments diary, keeping and updating files, dispatching and distributing outgoing and incoming mail and drafting routine correspondence.
Where necessary, the incumbent is also required to undertake document control activities such as scanning, uploading documents in Correspondence Management System (CMS) and retrieval of such documents which may be highly confidential and could not be handled by other staff (e.g. Admin Assistant).
The incumbent is also required to be having Arabic and English written and speaking skills
Experience & Skills
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by at least 6 months training in stenography / secretarial work at a recognized institute.
