Check at the start of his shiftthat products needed for his service station are on hand accordingto set par level and perform the order of the products from theinternal store.
Take part in the opening andclosing duties of the pastry in compliance with the norms andinternal procedures and contribute in stocking and receiving goodswhen needed.
Prepare quality pastry items asper the outlined recipes, the HACCP standards, the portion controlpractices, and the items’ presentation guidelines thendispatch prepared orders to the different outlets.
Ensure sanitation of work station at all times during theshift in by cleaning the fridge, shelves and counter, sharpeningknives and cleaning utensils upon end of shift.
Follow security / fire / safety procedures according tothe set rules and regulations and report any incidents tohierarchy.
Check the shelf life of products,tag the production / expiry date on each product, monitor andcommunicate on wasted product figures.
Maintain good product / food items knowledge to be able toanswer any inquiries and to provide observations whenneeded.
