The Role :
Responsible for the complete planning, design and engineering for all BSS systems (Billing, IN, Subscription life cycle management, mediation, provisioning, whole sale billing, voucher management & Etopup, CRM, CMS, Portals, IVR, POS, Integration layer, Kiosk, Digital channels, sales & customer care related tools).
Will be responsible for the planning and implementation of overall business strategy in order to support Ooredoo Kuwait corporate sales targets in the Enterprise Solutions area including M2M technology.
Responsible for preparing the business plan, and annual budget, and execution of yearly projects, in line with Ooredoo Kuwait and Ooredoo group assumptions and growth plans, both strategically and as requested in roadmap.
Key Accountabilities & Activities :
Manage planning and engineering activities and resources in the area responsible for which cover the following but not limited to :
Charging & Billing
Subscription life cycle management
CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Customer Contact Channel
Enterprise Integration Layer and Middleware
Portals & landing Page.
Kiosks and Digital channels (Mobile App.)
Responsible for the overall applications architecture, design, implementation, acceptance until handover to Managed services organization for all IT Services, and Products, launched in Market
Perform technical system analysis deliverance, right from feasibility study to actual implementation, of new products / services being introduced by Ooredoo Telecom’s Business Teams.
Perform internal and external negotiations to achieve high levels of quality and maximal functionality in the technical solutions selected.
Provide guidelines on processes and document formulation within planning department for design, engineering and implementation aspects.
Serves as a focal point for new technologies, features and system upgrades / enhancements.
Evaluate different ICT solutions / architecture is compliant with Ooredoo Telecom security policies.
Evaluate and plan hardware and software capacity, licenses, storages, and security.
Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.
Covering current Application setup analysis, business cases writing, comparative ROI documents, etc.
Provide input and accountable at finalizing of yearly CAPEX targets with minimum of deviations during the course of the year.
Technical document creation (Projects Specifications document, engagement documents, RFP’s and RFQ’s, Evaluation sheets, etc.

Produce project plans, resource plans, material cost plans and risk assessment on all technical projects.
Manage day to day issuing of work orders to operations team for any system change. Conduct annual performance appraisals (Performance Management System) and ensure objectives set are monitored and achieved.
Proactively manage and motivate the team to be highly professional and results oriented. Providing the necessary leadership and skills to help successfully execute the IT Services transformation and convergence strategy Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs.
Recruit reporting staff as required. Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors. Proactively take responsibility for self improvement by staying well-
informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise. Participate in seminars and conferences for gathering global insight into telecom technological and business strategies and utilize the gathered information for Ooredoo Telecom’s benefit.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Telecoms / Communications / Electronics Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute
